Wanting to know what games are coming to Xbox Game Pass in May 2025? Knowing when, and what games are joining the subscription service can be a bit of a headache, but rest assured we've popped a list together for you to take a peek at.

This is what May looks like so far, but expect Microsoft to pop a few more games onto Xbox Game Pass as we move through the month - as well as a few leavers near the middle of the month. It's always sad when games disappear, but with titles such as Dredge (a favourite here), and DOOM: The Dark Ages joining, hopefully it won't be too upsetting.

Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May 2025
Microsoft has announced its first batch of titles to leave Xbox Game Pass on May 15th 2025 - and there's a few of them. Take a look at the 8 games leaving the subscription service this month:

Xbox Game Pass May 2025 Wishlist Games
Now to wrap up, we thought we'd have a little fun and guess three games we'd love to see join Xbox Game Pass, and why that might happen this month.
Animal Well, 2024
First up on our wishlist is an indie banger, Animal Well. Why you might ask? Well, come May 9th, it'll have been a full year since it's launch in 2024, and we believe Microsoft would be silly not to snatch this one up.
Stray, 2022
One cat out, another one in. Stray has been around the block a few years now. And one that's playable on PC/Console through Xbox Play Anywhere. It's already set up on the Xbox PC app, so why not?
Capcom Fighting Collection 2, May 16th 2025
This one feels like a bit of a stretch, especially when we consider the rocky road Capcom Fighting Collection 2 took to include Xbox in its launch plans. But here we are, wanting and wishing for this slice of retro punch-kick-punch goodness to land on Xbox Game Pass. We're fools, we know...
